I want to thrive
can help you get to the root of an issue
Whether you're seeking clarity, connection, or personal growth, we offer 1:1 support to help you navigate relationships, work, and identity. Counselling can support you to:
Process the past, e.g. understanding how intergenerational trauma comes up in your present day
Break habits that are no longer helpful, e.g. a harsh inner critic stopping you from taking leaps
Re-connect with things that bring you joy, e.g. building bridges to create healthy family dynamics
can help you achieve big aspirational goals
Our coaching is designed to accelerate progress on your personal and professional goals—no matter your level of experience or seniority. Coaching can help you:
Understand barriers to success and what you can do to move past them, e.g. understanding power structures at work
Be your authentic self at work, e.g. trusting yourself to build deep relationships
Find balance between work and life, i.e. determining what work means to you and how you can achieve meaning and purpose in your life
So what’s the difference?
Counselling and coaching can seem very similar, so here’s a table to break it down:
Service | Session Price | Funding Options |
---|---|---|
Counselling | $215 (as at 1 July 2025) |
– Self-funded – Mental Health Care Plan: Medicare rebates ($96.65 per session) – Private health insurance – TAC – WorkSafe |
Coaching | $320 |
– Self-funded – Employer funded – Wellbeing / PD budgets |

Frequently asked questions
-
Psychological counselling sessions are eligible for Medicare Rebates under the government’s Better Access to Mental Health Care Initiative.
You can book an appointment with your GP for a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP). This acts as a referral letter that makes you eligible for 10 rebated sessions per year. The Medicare rebate amounts to $93.35 per session. -
Please note we have a strict cancellation policy. We appreciate sufficient notice to cancel an appointment.
If you cancel the appointment within 48 hours, you will incur a 50% cancellation fee of the session cost. This is because cancelling within 48 hours may mean another client would miss out on that time slot. Please reschedule and let us know of any changes at your earliest convenience.
There is also a 25% late penalty fee for any overdue payments that are unpaid 28 days after the appointment.
You are welcome to get in contact to clarify or discuss any of these payments.

Private health insurance is an option depending on your level of cover. If your level of cover includes ‘extras’ or ‘ancillary’ services that include psychology, you could make a claim to receive a partial rebate for the session. I am currently registered with the providers: ahm, Medibank, hbf, HCF, AIA.
If you are seeing a WorkSafe registered psychologist, you will need a referral from your GP along with a letter from your WorkCover insurer to claim sessions (based on the current WorkSafe fees).
