In Conversation with Bilingual Psychologist, Natcha Limpianunchai

Natcha Limpianunchai and I are both private practice psychologists who are passionate about providing culturally-responsive therapy. Natcha grew up in Thailand and Australia, and impressively practises therapy in both languages!

You can read more in her heart-warming a blog post, ‘Finding my voice practising psychology in another language.’

We also met up to exchange lunch and culture in a few Instagram series:

  • Our Lunch & Yap video included sharing our different meals and learning more about each other with some reflective questions

  • I shared a Vietnamese phrase for Natcha’s ‘Emotions of the world’ series about sharing a word that doesn’t have an English equivalent - exploring the nuances of emotion in different cultures
